Common Questions

What envelope size should I use for bills and letters?
The #10 envelope (9.5″ × 4.125″) is the standard for business letters, bills, invoices, and most correspondence. It fits a standard 8.5″ × 11″ sheet folded in thirds.
Why is my printed address misaligned?
Make sure "Fit to Page" or "Scale" is turned OFF in your print dialog. Select the exact matching envelope size. Use the Rotate 90° option if your printer feeds envelopes sideways.
Does this work on Mac and iPhone?
Yes. The tool runs entirely in your web browser — Safari, Chrome, or Firefox on Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android all work perfectly with no downloads needed.
What size is best for wedding invitations?
A7 (5.25″ × 7.25″) is the most popular wedding invitation envelope. A2 works for smaller response cards. Monarch and A9 are also frequently used.
How does the Address Book work?
Type a label, then click "Save Return" or "Save Recipient" to store the current address. Your addresses are saved privately in your browser — nothing is sent to any server. Click Load Return or Load Recipient on any saved entry to instantly populate the fields.
How do I use bulk printing?
Switch to the Bulk tab, paste your recipient list with a blank line between each address, then click "Print All." Each envelope prints on its own page. You can also use the arrows to preview each one individually before printing.
What is Test Grid Mode?
Test Grid overlays red 1-inch ruler lines on the preview. Check the "Test Grid" box, print on plain paper, hold it over your envelope, and verify alignment before using your real envelopes. The grid is only a visual aid and does not appear when Test Grid is off.
What's the difference between A-series and #-series envelopes?
#-series (like #10) are standard US business envelopes measured in inches. A-series (A2, A7, etc.) are US announcement and invitation envelopes. C and DL series are European ISO standard sizes.
